Job summary

You will work in a team, with hands-on training and opportunities to broaden skills across electrical and mechanical disciplines, reporting to team leads to meet safety, quality, and delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working on diesel engines or electrical systems in a service or MRO environment.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit, goal-focused team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills in a regulated environment.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically assemble switchboards for a major programme.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, test and reassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies to strict standards.
• Work with diesel power rail power packs.
• Collaborate with team leads to ensure quality, delivery, and cost expectations are met.
• Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and shop floor efficiency.
