Network Rail is seeking a proactive team leader for the Wales and Western region. You will direct, organise and motivate a high-performing team delivering maintenance, inspections and refurbishment work with safety at the forefront.

You will communicate clearly, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with standards while developing the skills of your crew and reporting on progress. This hands-on leadership role supports critical rail operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in organizing and managing the safe and efficient delivery of work.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing.
• Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, fault-finding, and discipline-specific refurbishment techniques.
• Knowledge of relevant standards, procedures, and instructions.
• Possess or be working towards NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant subject.
• Ability and willingness to drive vehicles (driving license category B).
