AtkinsRéalis UK is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Team Leader to lead a multi-disciplinary rail systems team delivering complex M&E/E&P projects across the UK. You will coach engineers, manage resources and ensure design outputs meet safety, time, and budget targets while maintaining high quality standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, governance, and bid-support experience, with a flexible hybrid working model and opportunities to grow client relationships and market presence.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in rail design projects.
• Strong governance, risk management and project delivery knowledge.
• Excellent communication with clients and project teams.
• Experience supporting bid preparation and work-winning activities.
• Willingness to develop people and foster high-performance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers, technicians and early careers professionals.
• Oversee design delivery, resource planning and workload management.
• Ensure outputs meet safety, time, budget and quality targets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design across M&E/E&P rail systems.
• Support business development and bid submissions where appropriate.
