Hitachi Rail is hiring a Junior Human Factors Engineer in London, offering a hybrid work model with office presence. You’ll support the Human Factors team across signalling, rail solutions and vehicles, develop hands-on skills, and grow toward Chartered status.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates or professionals early in their careers with a degree in Human Factors/Ergonomics, a collaborative mindset, and willingness to travel for client site experience.

Qualificações

• A degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics or related discipline.
• Membership of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (or willingness to obtain membership).
• Collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required and gain experience in operational environments.
• Long-term career interest in Human Factors and the rail sector.

Responsabilidades

• Support Human Factors work packages across a variety of rail sector projects.
• Work with internal stakeholders, customers and project teams to understand and capture Human Factors requirements.
• Evaluate Human Factors issues and contribute to potential solutions and recommendations.
• Support bid and proposal activities, gaining exposure to business development and work winning processes.
• Collaborate with wider disciplines including safety, training, and user experience teams.
