WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Deputy Business Development Director – Rail: Place and Regional Development to lead rail engagement with the place and regional development agenda across the UK. You will build trusted relationships, market insight and integrated propositions to shape rail investment and sustainable growth.

Reporting to the Rail Business Development Director, you will coordinate with Regional Growth Leads, Strategic Growth Directors and Local Government leadership to identify

Formación

• A proven senior leadership track record within rail or wider transport infrastructure.
• Clear understanding of UK devolution, local government and regional transport.
• Ability to convert client relationships and policy insight into opportunities and growth.
• Experience in developing integrated, multidisciplinary propositions around client outcomes.
• Strong commercial judgement and understanding of public-sector funding and governance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engagement with the UK&I place and regional development agenda.
• Build senior relationships with mayoral authorities, combined authorities and local authorities.
• Identify emerging rail propositions and connect transport investment with housing, regeneration and decarbonisation outcomes.
• Develop engagement plans with named relationships, priorities and routes to market.
• Convert market intelligence into a visible pipeline and support governance for capture and pursuits.
