Job summary

Teamforce Labour, a trusted rail, civil engineering and construction staffing partner, seeks an experienced PTS Groundworker with HSG47 to join a long-term rail project, starting Monday 12th October. You will carry out general groundworks, excavation, drainage, and reinstatement works, ensuring safe digging around underground services with a site team.

Applicants must hold PTS and CSCS, have HSG47 knowledge, and prior rail site exposure.

Qualifications

• PTS and CSCS qualifications are essential.
• HSG47 knowledge and safe digging around underground services required.
• Experience in groundworks/civils and rail environments preferred.
• Reliable with strong site health and safety understanding.
• Additional plant tickets such as Dumper or Roller advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general groundworks and civils duties within a rail environment.
• Undertake excavation and safe digging around underground services.
• Assist with drainage, ducting, trenching, concreting and reinstatement works.
• Read service drawings and identify underground services prior to excavation.
• Use hand tools and small plant safely and correctly.
• Assist with installation of drainage systems, ducts and civils works.
• Work closely with Site Supervisors and other site team members.
• Follow RAMS, permits and site-specific procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
