Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment's client is seeking experienced Rail Groundworkers to join their permanent workforce on rail and civil projects across North Wales. This is a secure, long-term opportunity with a reputable contractor, ideal for candidates with rail or civils experience and tickets.

You will carry out groundworks, drainage, concreting, and operate plant where qualified, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and possession work. Valid PTS and rail/civils competencies are required.

• Groundworks experience in rail or civils settings.
• PTS certification and rail/civils competencies.
• Ability to work safely and follow RAMS.

Responsibilities

• Carry out groundworks and general civil duties in rail or non-rail environments.
• Assist excavation, drainage, concreting, foundations and related works.
• Operate plant and equipment where qualified.
• Follow site RAMS, safety procedures and railway standards.
• Work effectively as part of a site team.
• Undertake nights, weekends and possession work when required.

• Assist with excavation, drainage, concreting, foundations and associated works.
• Operate plant and equipment where suitably qualified.
• Follow site RAMS, safety procedures and railway standards.
• Work effectively as part of a site team.
• Undertake nights, weekends and possession work when required.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) if wanting to work on the rail projects.
• Relevant rail/civil engineering tickets and competencies.
• Experience working within possessions and around railway infrastructure.
• CSCS/CPCS/NPORS tickets where applicable.
