Job summary

Teamforce Labour are seeking an experienced PTS Civils Site Supervisor for a long-term rail civils assignment. You will supervise civils works on site, coordinate operatives and ensure safety, quality and programme targets are met.

You will conduct toolbox talks, site inductions and RAMS compliance, liaising with engineers and contractors. The role requires valid PTS, SSSTS/SMSTS and CSCS, with proven rail civils supervision experience and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid PTS is required.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification is required.
• CSCS card is required.
• Experience supervising civils works in a rail environment is essential.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and safe systems of work is essential.
• Good leadership and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civils works on site.
• Manage site operatives and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs and programme requirements.
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions as needed.
• Ensure RAMS are understood and followed by all site personnel.
• Monitor site health & safety and ensure compliance with Network Rail procedures.
• Coordinate plant, labour and materials to maintain productivity.
• Liaise with Site Management, Engineers and other contractors.
• Carry out quality checks and report progress, issues and delays to management.
• Maintain accurate site records.

Role & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civils works on site.
• Manage site operatives and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions where required.
• Ensure RAMS are understood and followed by all site personnel.
• Monitor site health & safety and ensure compliance with Network Rail and site-specific procedures.
• Coordinate plant, labour and materials to maintain productivity.
• Liaise with Site Management, Engineers and other contractors.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure works are completed to the required standard.
• Maintain accurate site records and report progress, issues and delays to management.

Requirements

• Valid PTS
