Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking graduates to join our Rail teams in 2027, offering exposure to signalling, telecoms, power systems and station environments across the UK.

As a Graduate, you will work with experienced engineers on multidisciplinary projects, contributing to designs, BIM models, data analysis and client engagement while helping to shape the future of safe, sustainable rail travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 in a relevant master’s degree such as Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or Building Services Engineering.
• Starting September 2027.
• Interest in rail infrastructure, transport systems, and multidisciplinary projects.
• Curious, collaborative and motivated to solve challenges in rail.

Responsibilities

• Support development of technical designs and coordinated BIM models.
• Analyse operational or technical data and contribute to reports and designs.
• Attend site visits and engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Help deliver rail projects across signalling, telecoms, electrification, and stations.
