Great Western Railway in Swindon is hiring a Fleet Operations Controller to ensure trains are in the right place at the right time. You will manage fleet availability, coordinate with engineering partners, and keep customer experience at the heart of every decision.

Based in our Integrated Control Centre, you’ll work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment with cross-functional teams and industry partners, taking ownership and delivering safe, reliable services.

Responsabilidades

• Allocate GWR's fleet across services to meet capacity and facilities commitments for customers.
• Proactively maximise fleet availability and support the daily train plan.
• Coordinate with GWR Engineering and Hitachi to secure required fleet for maintenance.
• Maintain depot capacity awareness and resolve issues affecting fleet.Keep safety at the forefront and escalate when needed.
• Provide clear, accurate fleet position updates to colleagues and the business.
• Adapt to changing circumstances and minimize disruption impact for customers and colleagues.
