Siemens Mobility in Northampton is seeking a Management Accountant to deliver financial and management accounting, reporting and process improvement within the Rolling Stock unit. The role requires collaboration with the team in the office two days per week.

You will monitor records, provide financial analysis to senior management, forecast costs, and support SAP-based project accounting, with a focus on accurate statements and continuous control improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified in accounting or working towards qualification.
• Strong understanding of financial statements.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in financial analysis and reporting is preferred.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Develop and maintain management reports for decision-makers.
• Forecast and report on cost centres and project accounting.
• Participate in ICFR related activities.
