Job summary

Southeastern Railway is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team at the Head Office in London Bridge. You’ll own the financial performance of the directorate, lead budgets, forecasts and long-term plans, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Engineering, helping drive value for money.

You will coach an Assistant Management Accountant, promote process improvements, and deliver management reporting that is accurate and insightful, enabling strategic decision-making

Qualifications

• Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent.
• Experience in business partnering and financial ownership in a complex organisation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop your Assistant Management Accountant.
• Own the financial performance of the directorate, leading budgets, forecasts and long-term plans.
• Provide strategic financial insight and challenge to support decision-making and drive performance.
• Lead financial reporting, period-end and year-end reviews with clear actions.
• Support capital investment decisions and major projects with robust business cases.
