Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Site Agent to support a major rail infrastructure scheme at Wixams, focusing on welfare works and significant earthworks for the Midland Main Line enhancements. The role involves planning, managing and delivering earthworks safely and to programme requirements, working with the Project Manager and the wider project team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating at Site Agent level within rail or major civil engineering projects.
• Strong track record of planning and delivering earthworks schemes, including cuttings and embankments.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors on complex infrastructure projects.
• HNC qualification (or equivalent).
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Managing site operations for earthworks activities.
• Planning and coordinating construction activities to meet programme objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Monitoring progress and reporting to the Project Manager.
• Supporting the delivery of welfare and enabling works required for the project.
• Driving effective communication between stakeholders, project teams and supply chain partners.
