Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Site Engineer with a focus on Earthworks to join a major UK infrastructure project in Buckinghamshire Area. You will work with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to manage labor, plant, and material resources, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires hands-on earthworks experience, setting-out, subcontractor coordination, and reporting. A relevant civil engineering qualification and a valid CSCS card are essential, with driving license

Qualifications

Education: HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience); working toward professional membership (e.g., ICE).
Experience: Proven hands-on site engineering experience with a strong background in Earthworks and construction supervision.
Certifications: Valid CSCS card and a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

Setting-Out & Technical Support: Work within the setting-out team, mentor junior engineers, and resolve technical challenges on-site in coordination with senior leadership.
Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and monitor subcontractor performance to ensure full contractual compliance.
Resource & Information Flow: Ensure field teams have updated documentation, tools, and materials needed to execute daily tasks smoothly.
Planning & Reporting: Assist with project programming, progress updates, resource tracking, cost planning, and financial forecasting.
