Job summary

Carrington West is seeking experienced Earthworks Examiners to support Network Rail examinations across the York and London regions. You will plan, manage and undertake Earthwork Examinations in line with NR/L3/CIV/065, liaising with Access Planning teams to finalise access and Safe Work Packs.

Applicants should hold COSS or IWA competency, NR Level 3 Soil/ Rock Slope Examinations, and be proficient with JBA database and GizMapp.

Qualifications

• COSS or IWA competency required for railway work
• Knowledge of CIV/065 examination standards
• Experience producing earthwork examinations for CIV/065
• Familiarity with JBA database and GizMapp tools
• Understanding of Network Rail geography and operations

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct Earthwork Examinations per NR/L3/CIV/065
• Coordinate access, logistics and Safe Work Packs with planning teams
• Record outcomes and close out examinations accurately
• Support the Geotechnical Examination Team to meet delivery needs
