Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking an experienced Asset Engineer to support earthwork examinations across the operational railway in York. You will apply Level 3 competencies in soil and rock slope examinations, and produce high-quality examination records to CIV/065 standards.

The role focuses on safe systems of work, railway geography, and detailed, timely documentation. You will plan and prioritise workload, communicate with stakeholders, and use JBA Database and GizMapp to capture

Qualifications

• COSS or IWA competency to work on the operational railway.
• Level 3 competency in Soil Slope Examinations (GEO-I-S) and Rock Slope Examinations (GEO-I-R).
• Proven experience producing examinations to CIV/065 standard.
• Experience using the JBA Database and GizMapp.
• Good knowledge of railway geography and network capability.
• Strong understanding of Safe Systems of Work, including Separated Working, Possessions, Line Blocks and Blockades.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Good communication and customer-focused skills.
• Good IT skills and confidence using relevant operating systems.

Asset Engineer

Pay: £427 per day (inside IR35)

Location: York

Contract: 5 months

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Asset Engineer to support earthwork examinations across the operational railway.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in earthworks examinations, railway safety procedures and producing high-quality examination records to the required standards.
