Job summary

Advance TRS seeks a civil earthworks examinations engineer to deliver surveys on rail sites across the North of England, including South Yorkshire. The role demands experience in rail surveying and NR soil/rock slope examinations.

The candidate will complete NR_L3_CIV_065 examinations, oversee asset documents, and assist with design and reviews for assigned works in a contract setting.

Qualifications

• Engineering background is essential.
• Rail surveying experience is required.
• Level 3 competency in Network Rail Soil Slope Examinations (GEO-I-S) and Rock Slope Examinations (GEO-I-R) is needed.
• PTS, COSS or IWA certifications are required.

I am looking for a civil earthworks examinations engineer with a good engineering background, to deliver surveys on rail sites across the North of England (South Yorkshire).

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within a rail engineering environment. This role would suit a rail geotechnical surveyor.

Key responsibilities

• Completion of Examinations in line with NR_L3_CIV_065
• Work to oversee asset documents.
• Assist with engineering design and plans as required
• Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated works.

• Rail experience on surveying works
