Job summary

Eiffage Kier is seeking a skilled Highways and Drainage Sub-Agent to oversee and coordinate drainage works on the HS2 rail project. This role involves ensuring high safety and quality standards while managing subcontractor performance and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of rail drainage systems and have experience in a similar role within civil engineering. A valid UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are also required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Sub-Agent or Senior Engineer role within rail, civil engineering, highways, or drainage infrastructure.
• Strong technical knowledge of track drainage systems, deep drainage, and associated rail infrastructure.
• Must hold a valid UK driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Must hold a valid CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate track drainage works undertaken by subcontractors.
• Liaise with the Agent to develop work packages and technical documentation.
• Monitor progress and identify risks or delays.
