Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Diesel Engines) to cover the Midlands region. You will diagnose faults on modern diesel engines and propulsion systems, downloading data and working with ECU technology in customer sites.

You will receive full product training, operate in safety-critical environments, and may undertake pre-employment checks. Ex-forces personnel are welcome to apply, plus ongoing career development within rail and other sectors.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 minimum in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Experience with fault diagnostics and remote diagnostics.
• Ability to work in safety-critical environments and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault diagnostics on diesel engines and propulsion systems.
• Download data and work with ECU (Electronic Control Unit) information.
• Perform remote diagnostics to identify likely faults before on-site inspection.
