Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Diesel Engines) to join our Midlands-based team between Oxford and Derby. The role covers fault diagnostics, remote diagnostics, and on-site service for diesel propulsion systems, with full training provided.

You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, interpreting data from ECU units, and ensuring equipment uptime in safety-critical environments. A NVQ2+ background and willingness to travel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ2 as a minimum with fault diagnostics experience.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance of diesel engines.
• Experience with ECU and remote diagnostics.
• Willingness to work in customer locations and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsabilités

• Carry out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines and ECU data downloads.
• Perform remote diagnostics and condition monitoring to anticipate faults.
• Provide product expertise to ensure performance and availability of diesel engines in rolling stock.
