Work Lyf Group Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering organisation for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their Contract Maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with strong diesel engine experience to work on a fleet of locomotives across the UK, providing planned and reactive maintenance to ensure maximum reliability and operational performance.
The role is home-based with UK travel and offers a competitive salary with a shift allowance and
Formación
- Experience with diesel engines and related systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsabilidades
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
- Complete reliability inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
- Identify potential fleet issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in a rolling day/night on-call rota.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.
- Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and industry regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and fleet upgrades.
