Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to deliver elements of projects and support programmes, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality. You will work on plans, schedules and reporting, coordinating information and supporting senior decision-making.

Responsibilities include financial monitoring, commercial administration, process improvement and stakeholder engagement. A relevant degree and experience with data and project controls are desirable for progression within a global

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
• Relevant experience supporting large and/or complex projects.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with data, reporting and project control systems.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems; working towards a relevant professional certification or chartered status is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing plans and schedules for projects to meet time and quality standards.
• Coordinate project information (actions, risks, issues, dependencies, deliverables) and escalate exceptions.
• Independently collate and interpret data to prepare project documents including plans, schedules and reporting outputs.
• Analyse project data and trends to develop simple, practical recommendations to support senior colleagues’ decision‑making.
• Monitor and review project financial information to identify anomalies or discrepancies and ensure management has access to accurate, up‑to‑date information.
• Support day‑to‑day commercial administration activities (e.g., tracking changes, assumptions/exclusions, and basic contract communications) within defined authority and guidance.
• Proactively monitor and evaluate project management processes to identify opportunities to improve processes and systems.
• Liaise with stakeholders across the business to provide advisory support to internal clients, acting as a focal point for operational project queries.
