Job summary

Arcadis is a world-leading design, engineering and consultancy firm seeking a Senior Project Manager in the UK to deliver core projects up to £30m, on budget, on time and to the required quality standards.

You will set delivery approaches, establish plans with stakeholders, manage project teams, and ensure compliance and risk management across programmes. This role requires expert PM capabilities and strong client and supplier relationships in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience including management of small to medium sized projects (core sized projects).
• Commercial acumen and ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders.
• Expert level expertise in project management.
• Knowledge of own area managed and understanding of wider programme and business.
• Experience in managing business relationships at senior-management level.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Relevant professional qualification or chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scope of work and manage team or contractors to deliver planned programme.
• Produce plans and schedules in financial systems and track budgets.
• Deliver multiple small to medium projects meeting deadlines and budget.
• Present risks or issues to senior managers to avoid impact.
• Advise colleagues to ensure compliance with processes.
• Analyse data to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Apply industry best practice to review processes and propose improvements.
• Collaborate across the organisation to support delivery to internal customers.
• Advise senior management on project issues to support objectives.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to keep all parties informed.
