Job summary

Arup's rail team is seeking a Project Manager, Rail to lead multidisciplinary projects across the UK. You will coordinate engineering and design activities, manage interfaces, monitor plans and budgets, and maintain clear client communication throughout the lifecycle.

Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will build relationships, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement while delivering quality outcomes for rail clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience supporting or managing multidisciplinary rail design projects with cost, schedule, and quality focus.
• Project management experience within rail, transport infrastructure or similar complex environments.
• Strong communication, organisation and relationships management to coordinate teams and clients.
• Degree or equivalent qualification; chartership progression encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering and design activities across the project lifecycle.
• Manage technical interfaces, monitor plans and budgets, and communicate with clients and partners.
• Support bid and delivery processes, reporting to a Senior Project Manager.
