AmcoGiffen in Wales is seeking a Design Manager (CRE‑C) to lead the CP7 Wales Civils Framework design and construction activities. You will oversee on-site works, coordinate design inputs and ensure safety, quality and programme adherence.

The role requires extensive CRE rail experience, GRIP knowledge and proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams, with engagement across clients, designers and subcontractors to drive value and continuous improvement.

Formación

• BEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered membership desirable (ICE).
• CSCS Professionally Qualified Person or equivalent accreditation.
• Extensive CRE experience in rail projects.
• Knowledge of Network Rail GRIP process.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out Contractors Responsible Engineer duties and ensure governance compliance.
• Oversee design, construction and survey activities ensuring alignment with programme and budget.
• Manage design change requests and submittals for approval.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to resolve technical queries.
• Identify and manage risks across design–construction interface.
• Conduct inspections and review temporary works requirements.
• Promote quality assurance and continuous improvement throughout delivery.
• Support project handback and ensure H&S documentation is complete.
