Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is seeking a Rolling Stock Engineer stepping up to a Control Room Technician role. You will provide technical support to customer control room staff while trains are in service and work to resolve performance or in-service failures, leveraging EMU knowledge and rail experience.

Qualifications

• HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
• Proven EMU technical knowledge and rail experience.
• Experience presenting electrical engineering solutions to customers.
• Familiarity with asset management systems to record and close work.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer control room staff and manage in-service failures.
• Monitor live ORBITA feed and respond to alerts.
• Perform remote investigations using ORBITA, OTMR, CCTV; provide packs for field technicians.
• Raise work orders on the EAM system.
• Coordinate in-service failure responses with operations teams.
