Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking Skilled Operatives to join the Network Rail Reactive Civils Framework. You will perform maintenance and civils tasks across station platforms and rail infrastructure, ensuring safety and compliance on every job.

The role requires a solid trade background in joinery, bricklaying, and general construction, with advantageous rail qualifications such as PTS/COSS, SSSTS/SMSTS, PASMA/IPAF.

Qualifications

• Joinery, Bricklaying and General Construction / Civils experience.
• Advantageous: PTS / COSS, SSSTS / SMSTS, PASMA / IPAF.
• Includes handling of small tools and rail-specific equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: follow procedures and site instructions.
• Civils & Trade Delivery: perform maintenance tasks across the network.
• Asset & Equipment Control: ensure tools and plant are fit for purpose and reported if defective.
• Team Collaboration: work in a multi-skilled team and cover general duties when trades are not required.
