Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting on behalf of a high profile civil engineering and construction tier 1 client for a Site Engineer on a prestigious rail framework in the North of England. The role is long term and based on site in Stockport.

You will be responsible for setting out and monitoring works, ITPs, quality control, health and safety, and raising technical queries to ensure materials meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in civils or rail environments.
• PTS/CSCS card required.
• Tier 1 background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and monitoring of works on site.
• Conduct ITPs and some Work Package Plans.
• Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification.
• Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance.
• Raising of technical queries.
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
