Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is seeking a Project Engineer to work on rail/civil engineering across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. The role involves site visits, reviewing engineering information, and liaising with contractors and designers to address technical queries.

Hybrid working is typical, with three project-office/site days and two days at home. The role is suitable for someone with civil engineering design or construction experience and an interest in railway

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in design or construction within civil infrastructure.
• Railway industry experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support client-side engineering assurance within an allocated civil works area.
• Review contractor submissions, inspection records, and construction quality documentation.
• Collaborate with contractors and designers to resolve technical queries and review design changes.
• Follow up on non-conformances and corrective actions for close-out evidence.
• Support technical approvals and ensure works are ready for acceptance.
