Job summary

Mace UK is seeking a Project Engineer - Civil Engineering to join our Rail team in Derby on a full-time permanent basis. You will represent Mace with key clients and oversee the delivery of assignments, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

You’ll need a relevant engineering degree (BSc/BEng) and ideally chartered status, plus at least three years of experience. The role requires understanding of CDM 2015, Network Rail processes, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Chartered engineer preferred with relevant degree (BSc/BEng or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years' general relevant experience.
• Understanding of CDM 2015 and CSM 2013 regulations.
• Experience working with Network Rail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with contractors.
• Liaise with route engineers.
• Ensure schemes meet time, cost and quality targets.
• Perform engineering assurance activities for safety and reliability.
• Prepare method statements and manage interfaces.
