Job summary

NETWORK RAIL in London’s Blackfriars area is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Project Engineer to support the design and delivery of a diverse portfolio of railway projects. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to high engineering standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in signalling engineering across multi-discipline projects.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance.
  • CDM and risk assessment competency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and construction activities in accordance with Network Rail standards and legislation.
  • Coordinate engineering activities across the project lifecycle to meet safety, quality, time and cost targets.
  • Monitor and manage consultants, contractors and suppliers.
  • Provide engineering and project management advice during construction, testing and handover.
  • Review project outputs and ensure compliance with CDM regulations and railway standards.
