Job summary
AECOM is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM excellence across major rail infrastructure projects. You will drive BIM and Digital Engineering delivery, coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams, and shape the future of rail delivery through innovative digital practices.
Based in the UK with hybrid working options, you will mentor colleagues, develop BEPs, and collaborate with clients and partners to achieve high-quality digital outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience leading BIM and Digital Delivery within rail, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, model coordination, and digital workflows.
- Working knowledge of BS EN ISO 19650 and industry best practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead BIM and Digital Delivery across major rail projects.
- Develop and implement BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
- Lead model coordination, federation, design integration, and digital collaboration.
- Lead the development and implementation of BEPs and related documentation.
- Drive effective use of CDEs, including ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Support integration of BIM, GIS, asset information, and digital technologies.
- Mentor BIM professionals and develop digital capability across the business.
- Collaborate with clients, project teams and supply chain to deliver digital outcomes.
