Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM excellence across major rail infrastructure projects. You will drive digital delivery, develop BEPs, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams from concept through to construction support.

This role offers hybrid working arrangements, opportunities to shape the BIM and Digital Delivery future, and a path to leadership within a global infrastructure firm.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Professional accreditation or membership of a recognised industry institution desirable.
• Experience using Bentley ProjectWise, OpenBuildings Designer, OpenRail Designer, MicroStation, Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience mentoring BIM teams and supporting digital capability development.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM and Digital Delivery across major rail projects.
• Develop and implement BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Lead model coordination, federation, design integration, and digital collaboration.
• Lead the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Information Delivery Plans.
• Drive effective use of Common Data Environments, including ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Support integration of BIM, GIS, asset information, and emerging digital technologies.
• Mentor BIM professionals and help develop digital capability across the business.
• Work with clients, project teams, and supply chain partners to deliver high-quality digital outcomes.
• Contribute to bids, innovation initiatives, and business growth.
