New Step Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Commercial Manager to join a Birmingham-based client office on rail and infrastructure projects. You will bring quantity surveying and commercial management experience, with NEC3 (and ideally NEC4) contracts, and work within delivery teams alongside the supply chain.

The role requires a BSc in Quantity Surveying, over two years of experience, pre- and post-contract exposure, and rail project familiarity.

Qualificações

• Experience in quantity surveying and commercial management on rail or infrastructure projects.
• NEC contract knowledge (NEC3/NEC4) preferred.
• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent required.
• Commitment to pursuing professional accreditation (RICS) recommended.

Responsabilidades

• Support delivery of commercial activities within delivery teams.
• Collaborate with supply chain and contractors on cost variation assessments.
• Perform pre- and post-contract quantity surveying tasks and financial reporting.
