Job summary

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Radiotherapy Physics Technologist (Band 6) on a fixed-term basis for 12 months, covering maternity leave. The role is based at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool and requires working full time (37.5 hours per week).

You will plan radiotherapy treatments, perform in-vivo measurements, and maintain documentation within the quality system. Eligibility for Skilled Worker sponsorship may apply, with DBS checks as required.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a scientific subject.
• Registration as a Clinical Technologist with an accredited register (Eg. RCT, HCPC).
• Graduate of the NHS Practitioner Training Programme (PTP) in Radiotherapy Physics.
• Physics or Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficiency of radiotherapy equipment for patient treatment.
• Perform in-vivo measurements and keep accurate records.
• Report faults to senior staff and support quality systems.
