Job summary

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a radiology support role to assist radiographers, sonographers and radiologists in a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations, including mobile, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and MRI.

• Assist radiographers, sonographers and radiologists in diagnostic imaging examinations (mobile, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI).

• Participate in flexible working arrangements including out of hours shifts.

Job description

To assist radiographers, sonographers and radiologists in carrying out a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations, including mobile, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and MRI. Ensure high standards of patient care at all times and assist in developing a sensitive and caring environment for patients and carers within Radiology. Carry out clerical and administrative duties as required.
