Job summary

Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Radiology Booking Co-Ordinator/Receptionist for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on managing radiology bookings, patient communication, and reception tasks in a busy department.

The successful candidate will handle referrals, maintain waiting lists, and provide excellent customer service while working on a rota to cover NHS and private bookings.

Qualifications

• Experience in an office environment and handling confidential information.
• Good keyboard skills and familiarity with common computer programs.
• Customer-facing experience with clear, professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with staff across departments.
• Maintain a clear, robust waiting list and monitor clinic capacity.
• Add patients to the Radiology waiting list from referrals and enter information into CRIS.
• Deal with enquiries from departmental staff, patients and external health services.
• Undertake full reception duties for Radiology clinics on a rota basis, including greeting patients and registering arrivals.
