Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Advanced Clinical Technologist to perform QA checks on X-ray equipment across the Trust and for external customers. You will assist with technical support for patient dose management software and help decommission and dispose of medical equipment, while contributing to the Radiological Physics and Radiation

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unplanned quality assurance checks on X-ray equipment across the NHS Trust and for external customers.
• Travel to sites across the North and West Yorkshire region to support QA activities.
• Assist with training new staff and trainees after gaining sufficient experience.
• Provide technical support for patient dose management software and participate in decommissioning and disposal of medical equipment.
• Investigate staff radiation doses, log and triage incoming work, and support the radiographer QA programme.
