The Radiological Physics and Radiation Protection Service at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust seeks a registered clinical technologist to perform routine QA on x‑ray equipment and provide technical support for patient dose management across West and North Yorkshire. Flexible working and home‑working opportunities are available.

Applicants not yet registered may join at a lower grade with development support to achieve registration.

Qualifications

• Registered clinical technologist or eligible for registration at a lower grade with development support.
• Experience with diagnostic imaging QA and radiation protection is desirable.
• Willingness to travel to Trust sites and customer locations across West and North Yorkshire.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and unplanned QA checks on x-ray equipment at Trust sites and external customers.
• Assist with training new staff and trainees as experience is gained.
• Support patient dose management software and decommissioning of equipment when needed.
• Investigate staff radiation doses and log/triage incoming work.
