Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking an Inventory Management Officer for Radiology to track the usage of high value devices, record receipts and monitor usage in patient care, on-site at the main hospital.

The role involves using a hand scanner and keyboard input, generating reports to maximise data quality, and supporting daily Radiology operations while collaborating with the Commercial Analytics team to aid planning and funding.

Responsibilities

• Capturing accurate data on the receipt of new devices into stock, and their subsequent use in clinical care.
• Communicating and recording other events, such as the loss of stock via wastage and where stock is at the risk of reaching its expiry date.
• Assisting the clinical teams with enquiries around device stock and usage and providing them with device-related support.
• Preparing reports and analysis based on device related data.
• The role holder may also be requested to perform other duties as required in accordance with the grade and nature of the post
