Job summary

Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is recruiting a Ward Clerk for the New Cross Interventional Radiology team. You will be the first point of contact for patients starting their Radiology journey, handling reception, general administration and appointment scheduling using Soliton and the Trust PAS.

Strong communication with patients, consultants and hospital staff is essential, with a focus on confidentiality, accuracy and professional telephone manners.

Qualifications

• Candidate should demonstrate strong communication and professionalism.
• Experience in healthcare administration is desirable.
• Proficiency with standard IT applications and patient data handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reception duties and general administration for the Radiology unit.
• Arrange patient appointments and manage booking changes.
• Monitor and amend Radiology appointments per policy.
• Maintain stock and assist with ward clerical tasks.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and liaise with staff, patients and consultants.
