Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Radiology Department Assistant to provide support across Royal Berks, Bracknell Healthspace and Townlands Hospital. The role involves assisting Radiographers and clinical teams, supporting patients, and performing reception and clerical tasks as part of a rotating shift pattern.

Competenze

• Previous work experience in relevant sector.
• Data inputting experience.
• Good level of education with English and Maths.

Mansioni

• Assist Radiographers, Consultant Radiologists and other staff within all sections of the Radiology Department and its spoke facilities (Ultrasound, General X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, CT and MRI) carrying out radiography-related duties, as required
• Contribute to the provision of high quality patient care for all patients attending the Radiology Department, ensuring seamless delivery of services within the designated work area
• Carry out assigned tasks involving direct patient care, under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner. To include supporting patients with personal care needs, and providing chaperoning support as required
• Work within the reception areas and appointments centre, performing patient reception duties, and general administrative & clerical tasks as defined by the Service Manager
• Post requires full participation in the rotational shift system
• Take accountability and responsibility for own actions, and to work within the CARE values of the Trust
