Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a well-motivated Radiology Assistant to join our Radiology team. The role is Band 2 and supports the Radiology service, with an emphasis on delivering high standards of patient care and participating in flexible, 7-day working that includes evenings.

• Assist the radiology team in delivering imaging services.
• Support radiographers, radiologists and sonographers in day-to-day duties.

Job description

Radiology provides imaging services to hospital wide clinical areas. Our areas include trauma and orthopaedic radiography, general x-ray work, theatre and interventional radiology. The Department also provides a full range of specialist services including Ultrasound, CT Scanning and Nuclear Medicine. Your role will be to assist the Sonographers, Radiographers and Radiologists in the delivery of these services ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained at all times. The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours. We are looking for full time applicants. Ability to participate in 7 day working patterns is essential including evening sessions., We recognise that flexible working is important. We take requests for flexible working seriously, consider any request we receive and try to work with you, so we can explore if your request may fit with the needs of the service.
