Job summary

Nuffield Health in York is seeking a Radiology Department Support role to prepare patients for imaging and support the radiology team. You will aid radiographers in keeping the patient workflow smooth and ensure high standards of patient care.

You will assist with examinations, chaperone patients, manage queries and appointments, and handle stock and image transfers across sites. A caring, empathetic approach is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in a health-related subject is required.
• Experience in a radiology department is preferred, especially MRI, fluoroscopy and ultrasound.

Job description

This bank post sits in the radiology department at York Hospital, the private site run by Nuffield Health. Hours are ad hoc with no set weekly pattern, fitted around the department's needs and availability.
