Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Radiographer to join the Royal Hampshire County Hospital team in Winchester. You will perform general, trauma and fluoroscopic radiography, following departmental protocols, to deliver high-quality imaging across a 24/7 service.

Qualifications

  • HCPC registered radiographer with current UK practice.
  • Experience in general, trauma and fluoroscopic radiography.
  • Able to work autonomously and within a 24/7 service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general radiography exams following departmental protocols.
  • Carry out trauma and fluoroscopic examinations.
  • Provide high-quality imaging and patient care.

About the role

We are looking for a Radiographer with a commitment to outstanding patient care and high quality imaging to join our friendly and dynamic team at Royal Hampshire County Hospital.


We have an X‑ray equipment replacement programme underway. This is an excellent opportunity to be here at the inauguration.


You will undertake general, trauma and fluoroscopic radiography examinations following departmental protocols, providing a high standard of imaging.


We are looking for good communicators with an ability to work both autonomously and in a team; someone with a proactive and flexible approach to provide the best care for our patients across the 24/7 service.

Location and Facilities

We are a busy Radiology Department who undertake examinations in a number of modalities, across 2 sites. The main facilities are Royal Hampshire County Hospital (RHCH) with satellite services at Andover Community Diagnostic Centre.
