Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Edinburgh offers a 4-year Mechanical Engineering Graduate Apprenticeship. You will work in our design team, contributing to radar, laser and infrared countermeasure projects, with rotations through various lifecycle stages and ongoing formal training.

You will study for a degree at Heriot-Watt University while gaining hands-on experience and advancing engineering competencies in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 4 Higher Grades (BBBB) required.
• Mandatory Mathematics.
• Mandatory Physics or a Technology subject.
• Preferred English and another STEM subject.
• National 5 English (A-C).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and delivery of radar, laser and infrared countermeasure products.
• Receive tailored training in technical and soft skills.
• Rotate through different projects and stages of the product lifecycle.
• Pursue professional development with formal training and site visits.
