Job summary

Sperry Marine is seeking an Application Engineer for VisionMaster Radar and ECDIS to become the technical authority across our radar and ECDIS product lines. You will support sales, define architectures, translate requirements, and guide delivery through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of marine navigation systems, particularly Radar and/or ECDIS.
• Experience working with system specifications, configurations, and integration.
• The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high quality solutions.
• Experience in applications engineering, systems engineering, technical support, or a similar role (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for VisionMaster Radar and ECDIS systems
• Support sales and bid activities by defining system architectures, specifications, and configurations
• Translate customer and regulatory requirements into practical, compliant solutions
• Provide technical guidance during project execution, ensuring solutions are correctly delivered
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and service teams to feed back operational and market insights
• Support troubleshooting and complex technical queries where deep product expertise is required
