Carbon60 is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a world-leading navigation and maritime technology organisation. You will develop embedded software for radar and navigation products, collaborating with software and hardware teams to deliver innovative solutions and support testing and integration activities.

In this role you will participate in Agile processes, sprint planning and code reviews, contributing to advanced maritime technologies used globally.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in embedded software engineering.
  • Proficient in C++ and C#.
  • Experience with real-time, multi-threaded systems.
  • Familiar with Linux environments, Bash scripting and Python.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and UDP networking.
  • Experience with OpenEmbedded, Bitbake, Makefiles and embedded Linux development.
  • Able to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded software for next-generation radar and navigation products.
  • Work closely with software and hardware engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Support system integration and product testing activities.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and code reviews.
  • Contribute to the evolution of advanced maritime technologies used globally.
