Job summary

Levy UK & Ireland, part of Compass Group, at Aintree Racecourse, seeks an Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day and race day hospitality operations, ensuring high standards, team leadership, and sound financial performance.

You will manage staffing, Health & Safety compliance, and customer service across catering, events, and fine dining, driving guest satisfaction and delivering on client briefs with commercial awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food Service / Contract Catering / Hospitality.
• Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent management, communication and financial skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead direct reports and appraise performance.
• Oversee set up on prep days and event delivery.
• Induct, train and develop variable labor as needed.
• Maximise sales opportunities and uphold service standards.
• Ensure day-to-day catering services meet targets and client expectations.
