Job summary

Jockey Club Experiences, part of Compass Group UK&I, seeks a General Manager to lead Nottingham and Market Rasen Racecourses, directing both race-day and non-race-day experiences. You will oversee a fixed core team with event-day support, ensuring consistency, quality, safety and guest satisfaction across sites.

You will build leadership capability, drive commercial performance and manage client relationships, while delivering sustainable improvements and high standards across hospitality,

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-site hospitality/Events operations.
• Proven ability to drive standards and improvements.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of operations across Nottingham and Market Rasen racecourses.
• Develop and coach a multi-site senior management team.
• Partner with clients to balance commercial aims with guest experience.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance metrics and reviews.
• Build accountability, safety, quality, and financial discipline.
